This theme is built specifically to be used with WordPress’s new default editor, Gutenberg. For that matter theme will only best function on WordPress versions 5.0 and above or versions that have Gutenberg plugin installed and enabled.

Once you made sure Gutenberg is up, install and activate the Kioken Blocks plugin which will drastically enhance your Gutenberg editing experience with it’s blocks and editor options.
