Bavarian WordPress theme is built for WordPress 5.0 and above. If you intend to you use this theme with earlier wordpress versions, it is highly suggested that you install Gutenberg plugin because it’s what theme is made for 🙂
Recommended Setup for Bavarian:
Server:
Nginx and/or Apache with mod_rewrite module
HTTPS support
PHP:
5.6 and above. Will feel great if 7.3 and above
MySQL:
MySQL 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB 10.0 or greater
Bavarian will work really fast if you have Nginx enabled and have php 7.3 and above.
Browser Support
Bavarian well works with the following browsers: Chrome, IE Edge, Firefox, Safari.
IE11 version is not fully supported due to the modern css and javascript technologies we used in the theme and kioken blocks plugin, which don’t exist with IE11 and earlier.
